Photographer’s Note
This isn't what I had actually planned to post today actually. I have a few more slowly (SLOWLY) developing street shots still on deck but I felt like postin gthis after last night's troubles.
Setting myself the unpleasant task of heading out with a tripod to try some long exposure evening shots of the somewhat kitcshy merlion statue I was somehow surprised when the shots I took popped up on my monitor at home with little droplets of water blurring everything interesting about them.
Fortunately I had taken these before I decided to stand under a fountain and imagine I wouldn't get wet.
Cheers
Mark

Hi Mark - indeed! What an excellent night shot. WELL worth taking the tripod out with you.. You know me - people pictures all the way, but I absolutely love this picture of yours. I only only wish you had gotten someone just a little bit more interesting in the foreground...
purrrrfect exposure!

This is a nice documentry shot of the Singapore skyline, Mark. The building have been rendered well and the , of so typical, slightly balding, shorts wearing, middle aged towkey, taking it all in, is just right for s'pore, and provides a nice lead-in for the pciture. regards kevin

Hi
This is a great shot. The colours are awesome and the detail is clear. I find the light at the foreground a little distracting - but then maybe it adds to the photo?!?!?
I don't know. I'm all confused.
Great photo!!

Incredibly sharp photo Mark. I've used the 10-22 lens before and I wasn't impressed by it, but you've impressed me with this one. The man really looks like he is struck with awe at the beautiful skyline here. A top job.

This is a great shot. Excellent sharpness for a night shot. I like the glow above the city here, as well as the futuristic shapes. The building in foreground looks like some kitchen utensil. Strange and interesting. One of your best from Singapore.

Hello Mark
I searched for "Sky on fire" in your gallery but I din`t found any ;). Good :)
Beautiful image with great perspective. I like the lighting in the foreground including the man and the colours of the buildings are very nice - pastel, I like it.

Hi Mark,
wow this is a very good picture there, i like it a lot, the fact that this man stands up and didn't move for at least 0,5 sec is excellent, sharpness is excellent and colors very nice.
I like it a lot
All my congratulations

Hi Mark!
It is a terrific light work! The overall effect is very good - all the details crispy clear. The man watching the city is a nice 'human' element.

Seb
