Standing in line to enter the Kremlin in Moscow in mid-2006.
I find myself waiting in a long line of tourists from some unidentified European country in front of me.
The red star atop the nearby building is an interesting reference point.
It was an enjoyable day, but if you ever go - make you to go in the morning to avoid the crowds.

Only you were mystified. This is not Red Square at all.

Even better is to go in unorganized group, and enter the Kremlin not by this gate but by another one, on the other side of the Garden, buying the tickets independently. At least I did it easily couple of times, maybe Artlook can say something more useful about this matter.
Good photo, with faded colors look almost bw.
Oh yes, Kubik is quite right, it's NOT the entrance to Red Square, it's the entrance to Kremlin!
