Photographer’s Note
This is the ballroom of the Catherine's Palace located in "Zarskoye Selo" or "Czars Dwelling" in the town of Pushkin which is about 25 minutes by train from St. Petersburg. It is definitely a place to visit on your trip to Russia, because it includes a number of historically significant places. The palace itself is currently under restoration and one of the first things to be restored was the famous "Yantarnaya Komnata" or "Amber Room". It is incredibly beautiful but unfortunately, due to the properties of amber it is forbidden to take pictures of it. So you will have to see it for yourself! :)

The place looks incredibly beautiful and we can see that the authorities are taking care of it making compulsory the use of foot covers. The photo itself seams a bit over-exposed.
