Palace Square, St Petersburg, Russia

| [Note Guidelines] Photographer's Note |
View from a window in the Hermitage Museum.
Extending the length of the western side of the square, with its back to the river, is the Winter Palace, which houses the legendary State Hermitage Museum. In the center of the square is the Alexander Column, commemorating the Russian victory over Napoléon in 1812. Dominating the eastern side of the square is the General Staff Building, formerly the army's general staff headquarters and now part of the Hermitage. (www.fodors.com/miniguides/) |

What a panorama ! despite having the sun in front, you succeed in the pic. Wide angle witghout distortion.
Well done.

absolutely astonishing panorama, truly amazing POV, perfect DOF, wonderful, calm colours and ... it is just brilliant.
Very well done.
If you do not mind - I posted a small workshop, which adds a bit more movement to your shot.;)

Hi Alex,
a nice panoramic picture indeed. The people in the square and their shadow permit us to see the scale of the objects in the picture. Very good light and compostions.
