Photographer’s Note

Somebody missed me here? I am sorry for my long silence, as I told you before, I was pretty busy with my work. But now less and less tourists coming to Russia, and I have some kind of vacation and happy that I have much more spare time to work with my photos which I have made during summer season. The winter is coming to Russia and in Moscow is already snow on the roads...

Ok, here is the nice view on the attractive white church of Transfiguration and classical mansion which are located on the Vyazemka river. The estate at Bolshie Vyazemy is remarkable not only for its beautiful architecture, but also for the fascinating historical associations. The church and the house at various times sheltered the ill-fated Tsar Boris Godunov, Napoleon and his officers at the head of the invading French army, and the remarkable Golitsyn family whose princes owned the property from the time of Peter the Great to the Bolshevik Revolution.
