Photographer’s Note
Somebody missed me here? I am sorry for my long silence, as I told you before, I was pretty busy with my work. But now less and less tourists coming to Russia, and I have some kind of vacation and happy that I have much more spare time to work with my photos which I have made during summer season. The winter is coming to Russia and in Moscow is already snow on the roads...
Ok, here is the nice view on the attractive white church of Transfiguration and classical mansion which are located on the Vyazemka river. The estate at Bolshie Vyazemy is remarkable not only for its beautiful architecture, but also for the fascinating historical associations. The church and the house at various times sheltered the ill-fated Tsar Boris Godunov, Napoleon and his officers at the head of the invading French army, and the remarkable Golitsyn family whose princes owned the property from the time of Peter the Great to the Bolshevik Revolution.

Hi Arthur,
This is a superb photo. I like the inclusion of the vegetation in the foreground. The buildings are interesting as are the beautiful clouds. Thanks for sharing.
Cheers,

Hi Arthur, yes, I missed you and did think of you working hard over summer. Welcome back. I am looking forward to seeing more of your photos.
And you start off with an interesting one for us. I like the trees making the church peep out at us. And that sky is quite dramatic too. And then the reflections on the water give us another interesting look too. Well done my friend,
Janice

Welcome back Arthur,
It's a great picture, even though I would have liked to see more of the church and belltower, which looks very interesting. Also, more information about where this place is would be great.
Best wishes,
Jeremy

Меньше и меньше туристов, в смысле зимы, или их и правда меньше приезжает?
Прекрасная фотография, очень спокойная.

Hi Arthur,
another shot under the usual wondeful "russian sky". It is a sort of trademark of your postings. You got a very well balanced composition, with those "bands of colour":
- grey clouds
- blue sky
- light green (opposite) bank
- brown/blue reflection
- dark side
Well done. Dario
