[Note Guidelines] Photographer's Note
This is the main temple of the Ivolginsk Datsan in Southern Siberia. You actually come to it quite at the end of your tour when walking around at the site (as I mentioned at a previous post you should only walk clockwise on the territory, the monks told us) and is very nice. You may enter it and walk around and are asked to leave a contribution. If you want to buy souvenirs or prayer flags: also possible. In the background you can see the construction works going on as they were just about to build another temple. We actually realised that even the monks doing the construction walk only clockwise! There were also a few women from the village helping with the painting works at the new temple.

hi there, nice shot here composition is good and lighting is too, i wouldnt expect to see a temple like this in siberia, maybe thats just my ignorance! nice shot, the colours are very nice and the sky is perfectly exposed, thanks for sharing

This could be Southeast Asia too.Good POV to show us this nice and interesting temple.Nice colors and a good contrast with the sky.I like the tiger in the foreground ,he looks like a guardian.

Quite amazing to find such a structure in Russia, I suppose Siberia is materialized by the tiger, I like the flags leading curves and find the green/blue stairs at the bottom stand out particularly well.
