Photographer’s Note

This is the view of lake Seliger from one of the towers of Nilova Pustyn' on Stolbnyi Island.

Seliger, situated about 360 kilometers from Moscow in Tver area, is a part of the Volga basin. It is one of the popular vacation destinations for Muscovites. The lake is a protected nature reserve, which offers abundant opportunities for fishing, hunting (with a special permit), camping, mushroom and berry picking, boating and swimming. Its picturesque landscape of pine and birch forests, clear water and fresh air attract those, who search place for relaxation.

very nice landscape, oczeñ narawit'sia mienia. Nice colours and peaceful atmosphere. Good captured one bird over the lake and boat. Well done photo but needed a bit sharpness.

Hi Katia,
I can see a traingle emerging from the horizon with its base our computer screen. Can you feel it? Go deep into your sho once more.Calm and clear sky as its one side,water and vegetation the other side, just enjoy again your pyramid.

Отличное место для фотосъемки! Много о нем слышал, но почему-то так и не довелось пока побывать там!
Отличный вид и композиция. Птичка не может не радовать =) Только угол здания в правом нижнем углу немножко мешает, как мне кажется.
