View from the Kremlin Photo

Photographer’s Note

Here is a view on the famous Cathedral of Christ the Savoir from the Kremlin. I took this photo last autumn nearby the Grand Kremlin Palace, several steps from the Annunciation Cathedral (look on my previous picture).

You can see here that the Kremlin, as stronghold of Moscow city, is located on a hill (named Borovitsky) and on the bank of Moskva-Reka (Moscow-River) following all rules from medieval times about good locations for fortresses. So, here you can see how city looks nowadays not so far from the Cathedral's Square where Moscow was founded at 1147.

Probably this picture not so impressive with colors and details of architecture, but I like this view and composition... if you like this view, please, look on it more thoughtfully, it is not doubt, that you can find 3 (three) symbols from different epochs here. :)

This is another nice view of Moscow. I can see here a cross, a star and the symbol of Mercedes. What a diversity !

Hi Arthur, I do like this view and your composition. The Cathedral of Christ the Saviour is framed so well with nature's trees. Yes, I do see the 3 different buildings showing 3 varying stages of architecture used over the years. Well spotted, I do thisnk it is very good,

Bonjour Arthur,
il y avait bien longtemps que je n'étais plus passé sur ta galerie.
Voici donc une photo où je peux admirer Moscou sous une légère brume mais tout de même du soleil.
Un cadrage parfait, entouré de branches et de nature.
Bien vu.
