This is my yesterday photo session from the old Ural town (founded in 1591) Osa. I have thought Osa is a sting in the Russian language. But this word means grayling fish on the old Vogul language (the Finno-Ugric group).
On the background you see the St.Trinity Cathedral. See also WS version.
Klaudio (daddo) asked me for my Russian photos, so this post is my answer for Klaudio.

This is a beautiful composition, the plants are very strange to me, they look like caterpillars! Do caterpillars grow on trees? haha. What a stunning backdrop too, this cathedral is very impressive and its strong colors make it even more so. Beautiful blues and deep earths look fantastic. Really nicely done.
all the best

I have also always enjoyed your photos from the Ural region. They are much rarer and more exotic than any pictures from California or Spain or Germany. These are two good photos with superb colours. It seems that although winter has barely left this area, persons allergic to pollens are already having a tough time.

in Polish, Osa is a wasp. Nice composition with the blurred church in the background and stunning blue sky. I hope you have no snow anymore and soon you will complain about the hot days.
Impressive sharp this (poplar?) flower. Artistic composition.

Amazing ! You've created from a simple object a perfect artwork. The blurred but still contrasty background together with infocus plant in the foreground creates a perfect graphism.
TFS and have a nice weekend

Amazing sharpness on the foreground. The low DOF lets guess the beautiful church in the foreground.

Hello Dear Serghei,
This is indeed a work of art, with the blurred image of the church serving as the backdrop. What I like best is the immediacy of the photo. You just shot it on 2 May and posted it the next day. Carol Jean and my friend Bernie Franklin from Los Angeles send their regards,

This is really great close up shot taken with perfectly executed DOF, exposure and color saturation. Like the way you composed the subject with beautifully blurred architecture in the background. TFS!

very artistic composition! The blurd church tower framed just nicely the flower.
