Photographer's Note
Despite the end of March, winter is slowly receding in St. Petersburg. At night it snowed, and froze. The spring sun is doing its job during the day. There are thawed patches, creeks and streams are exempt from the ice. This shot was taken on the eastern outskirts of St. Petersburg in Rzhevka Forest Park.
