Photographer's Note
I thought long which photo to post next and stopped at this one.
In many ways this picture reflects my current state of life :) Squeezed, hard pressed for time - my days are filled with loads of things to do.
This is a very typical daily life scene in Moscow.
This is downtown - the very centre of the city.
Very close to Red Square and all that Kremlin stuff..
How do you like to live like this?
I have no choice, anyway... so I live and continue to be squeezed and pressed... :)
A special thanks to my TE friends who find the time to view my gallery! I'm very sorry I currently can't catch up with your works.. but, hopefully, little by little... I will :)

Hello Elena,
A puzzling view that is able to express your current state of mind ver well. This is our life and we have to manage it. Moscow, Frankfurt, Paris or anywhere.
It almost looks like the same and everyone is in a hurry. They all try to find something that is missing but most don't know what they are looking for.
Try to accept it, have patience and set your mind free. Think of what is important for you - regardless what you see and have to accept as unchangeable.
I am in a similar situation right now but hope that by the end of the week things will get better.
Take care.
Kind regards,
Thomas

Hello Elena,
Living your squeezed and very busy life you suddenly discover this beauty between all the common
things of every day.
And it is a beauty, and it has the strength to rise out above the rest and to survive so many other things.
A beautiful moment, an unexpected meeting with someone, perhaps a picture or a message on internet,
so many nice things interrupt our busy life and let us enjoy a while before we hurry again.
Best regards, Paul

Hi Elena,

your very fine picture symbolizes really our pressive daily life imidst most of the bigger towns.. no place to esacpe!
thanks for sharing, and i´m really proud one more time to live in a calm little village with only a few hundred inhabitants.. and lots of nature around..
with my best wishes and have a nice and relaxed evening, Bernd

Hello Elena,
une intéressante composition, bon contraste entre le chaos de voitures et l'architecture en arrière avec les superbes détails en bleu et doré.
Bonne soirée

Hi Elena.
Rather expensive looking large cars, too. Of course, one needs a truck-like vehicle to move slowly around a modern city, and to keep up with what one's friends are driving. I like the way those colourful church towers loom up above the small tin roof and the wires - symbolic? The tight view of the portions of the vehicles achieves your aim in this photo. Let's hope things slow down a bit.

Andrew

Well this is a very different photo Elena - a pity it reflects your current life. Such a mixture of items to view - the traditional domes which are probably hard to avoid in your city, a mess of wires, posts and corrugated iron, a clock to confirm the time in your 'photo info' and the luxourious cars of capitalists. Well seen and I hope your life becomes more ordered very soon.
Cheers, Marlene

Hello Elena - By using a fairly long focal length you have compressed the view and emphasised the 'squeezed' aspect very well. The DOF has further added to this feel. The clock ticks, people rush by in cars. I like the fact that the blue domes and minarets remain calm! A super shot with a most pertinent note. Best regards Rosemary
PS Think a nice cup of tea might be in order!

Hello Elena,
That looks like a very fine church over there. Unfortunately the cars disturb the view a bit ;-)
Well, this is what we see in most cities these days, cars and cars and more cars. Maybe Moscow is worse than many others, I don't know. So you did the proper thing and focused on the cars and eternal traffic jams instead of the lovely architecture. Certainly a reasonable and original way of showing daily life in the big city.
Kind regards,
Gert

Hello Elena
Here you've captured the chaotic mix that characterizes so many cities, around the world, of the old & new, the static & the fast-paced, religion & consumerism. Good sharpness & color. Spasiba!

Hello dear Elena,
A superb note explaining how you feel about your daily life in Moscow, I can associate myself well with such a problem. Nowadays everyone wishes for instant gratification in almost every activity that they engage themselves in. Fast food, fast delivery, fast work pace, and a fast result, the word “fast” has become a sort of religion. The photo represents, visualizes, and addresses such worldwide phenomenon quite well. In our country, this problem and the stress associate with this fast culture is getting to a point where people are becoming very ill. I wonder where we are going so fast. But all this will have to come to a point where we can no longer continue to live the fast life, like now.
With my very best wishes,
Please try to have a very pleasant week, Elena
Nobu.
