Halloween in Chelny, Tatrstan, Russia!

We were 50+ people dressed in Halloween manner walking around the city and scaring… no-one )) For the weather was so nasty (rain/snow) that there was hardly anyone in the streets.

This site is less than a mile away from my home, right behind a market place. The building was meant to be a kindergarden but the construction was abandoned to the joy of traceurs (free runners) and scaters. The first two floors are there, the third being unfinished. The front now faces the market, the back – the pinetree forest.

We burnt a jack-straw, jumped over the fire, ate "poison" (which actually was vitamin C in powder) and drank "blood" (i.e. tomato juice). The wall had an intricately drawn shape of pentagram two pints up with a devilish face skilfully drawn within the shape. There were inscriptions like "Happy Halloween" on the walls (yep, in English :). The scene reminded me of my favourite computer role playing game Morrowind (The Elder Scrolls III).

At about 8.30 p.m. the party moved to a night club.

Technically

My camera is not professional so I gotta trick it to get the necessary settings. I pressed it against a wall, set ISO 40, turned off the flash, turned on a flashlight, set 2 seconds. During the exposure I was moving the flashlight.

I made another shot at ISO 64. To get a longer exposure I focused on the dark staircase.

Shot from this point to north west. I think you'll recognize the staircase, cuz it's unfinished, that's why visible.
