The New Jerusalem Monastery was founded in 1656 by Patriarch Nikon as a patriarchal residence in the outskirts of Moscow. The monastery took its name from the New Jerusalem. More about it in Wikipedia

A lovely view of the miulti-domed monastery in fine colours. A good overview with the people and the adjacent buildings providing scale.
