Photographer’s Note
It is a photo of a burned tree I took in January 2003. I liked the contrast between white and black.
A note, the photo was actualy not taken in Moscow as it is written but near Chakalovsk.

i absolutely love this pic! :) it's a good thing that you didn't completely desaturate it, since that would've lost some of the detail in the trees. nice placement of the dead tree too. if anything, maybe you could sharpen some of the trees in the sky and make the frame thinner. this pic has got me ready for winter!! :)
