| Near Saint Petersburg, in Poesjkin, There is the Catharina palace. Nearby is this lovely park where children play in the snow. At that moment I felt I was standing in the middle of the Breughel painting of the wintergames, or another painting by this master. It was like jumping back in time 300 years |

yes, i instantly thought of brueghel's winter landscape and people paintings.
there is a wonderful luminosity (almost as if a giant fill-in flash was used) and the pastel blue tone of the snow, responding to the sky, is a gorgeous feature. i hope members will enjoy this shot as much as i do.

I love it Lucas, the lighting is fantastic.
I like the background where people are playing in the distance. This is a scene that i seldom see, living in the relative warmth of southern England.
Well spotted!

This is yet another work of art. This is a beautiful winter wonderland scene. It reminds of a painting that my folks have hanging up on their wall. The artist's name is Trisha Romance.
Well done on this one, wow.
Yes I agree, 'The Hunters' was my first thought on seeing this. Very beautiful scene effectively captured.
A very good idea, a beautiful flagrante!

superbe photo comme une peinture, un tableau de carte de voeux, la réverbération du soleilo donne une tendre couleur à la neige
