Photographer’s Note
Here are the special parquette from the Pavlovsk Palace.
Such parquettes were made by very exquisite masters, they used up to 50 differents sorts of wood.
Architects during designing of the mansion made also the project of parquettes, and later they were made according to that design.
Have to be noted that this particular parquette is 240 years old, even if, of course, it was renovated and repaired since then.

Thanks for showing this photo, Yes, these old masters long gone, but thier work remains, a fine tribute to them, also to todays people who look after this good craft.
