It is incomprehensible why russian people try to joy when all another going to cry, why they are laughing when the rest a keeping silence. Its enigma. This young man can keep joyfull on the very high frost, in -27 degrees. Its imposible to many people go outside their home, but not for him...

The tilted horizon is confusing here, and I think the idea could be improved by a different framing, less sky, more man, putting his face into a key "third" -- but still there is a power here, along with the title, giving a feel for the thickness, harshness, coldness of the land, with those eyes turning toward the camera, seeming to be begging for help, for rescue from it all. I will look for more of your work. -- Ellie
