Photographer’s Note
My first picture on TE from my crazy trip to Russia. I took this shot from a hotel window in russian city Astrakhan situated in delta of Volga river. City looks for me like city at "the end of the world". I didn`t saw as neglected city as Astrakhan never before. After a just 2 hours of flight from Moscow it was hard to believe that we are in the same country and still in Europe.

Hello Andrzej,
I like your presentation here, but I am not as thrilled with the actual view! This is not the greatest view to have from a hotel window! The foreground of the photo is lovely, with the white fence stretching across the whole frame, but the background is a real contrast to the fence and cleaner water.

Very interesting image Andrzej, your shot illistrates what life must be like in parts of Russia, crisp capture with nice color, good note.

Hallo Andrzej!
This photo is impressive and depressing at the same time. Hard to believe that it was taken in Europe. An important reportage photo!
Greetings from Germany!
Frank
