While you find blocks of flats in the majority of the districts, there are still some remains of the old days. I like old wooden houses with richly decorated facades. In fact, they are fading, lacking the modern facilities and getting less and less comfortable to live in. But still when I see those dull, but solid brick houses built to replace the old wooden ones I feel we part with something important

Hello Olga,
Like your photo, shows small town/village life
as it is, looks very frosty, homes will be warm with wooden stoves going.
