Next three photos from the White NIghts Festival in Perm. (see in WS two photos too).
"The Perm White Nights festival, which ran for most of June, combined performing arts, photography and public lectures, and turned the city into a month-long extravaganza of creativity reminiscent of the Edinburgh Fringe.
The local government also wants to build infrastructure and cultural institutions. Prominent architects have been recruited to design a new modern art gallery (Gelman’s museum is currently housed in the old ferry terminal on the banks of the Kama) and a ballet theater. The small, rundown airport is scheduled for renovation.
Weaning citizens off the joys of casual violence and other antisocial pastimes — similar posters feature stick figures swigging from bottles, littering and urinating — is a finer element of the strategy.
Hence, the subtitle beneath the antisocial stick figures: “We are a cultural capital.”

The thumbnail peeked my curiosity! It's an excellent photo, with an engaging note. Body-piercing and tattoos are not my cup of tea, but each to his own, or "different strokes for different folks' as the expression goes. Technically a first rate shot with flawless exposure.
Warm regards, Serghei,

Very good capture of a butterfly. Who does not like бабочка? I think I will leave photography and become a painter of butterflies.
Thanks for sharing.

Un omaggio alla bellezza.
Non amo i tatuaggi ma ormai sono diffusi.
La "griffe" ..il corpo un palcoscenico .
Un perfetto ritratto e momento decisivo .

For a few days already, since I saw this - but had mixed feelings about what to write: Don't know wether to call this art, or a pic. of a lady-at-work.
Yet, I say the moment taken this show the modern-fashion of Tattoos painting, and I never understood a woman did this on her breast - If she want to show this, draw attention or hide it from sight... why do this anyway?

Great title, and one that could also work would be "Beauty on the Breast at the Fest." ;) You never know what you're going to come across at festivals, and you found a risque one here...or at least at first glance. haha
Always fun to capture another artist at work, and in a different medium than ourselves makes it even more intriguing. This could be interpreted in many ways of course, but I think you've done well to present this as artistic. I'm sure it's a lot less painful than a permanent tattoo, or so I would hope...but for now, it serves the same purpose. Festival fun and photography rolled into one. Well done! Have a great week.
Friendliest wishes from the U.S.,
