The trains in Russia tend to run on time. But the carriages still have wooden seats. And for some reason they often don't run between 10 am an 12 noon. And the rest of the time they are quite full. Especially from St. Petersburg to Pushkin and Pavlovsk where a lot of commuters live. Normally this kind of shot doesn't hold much attraction, but as a travelogue souvenir it is a good reminder of the country and its people. And the contrast to the fancy side of St. Petersburg is striking.

A daily life photo, Per, excellent depth image and good colourful. It is very difficult a photo makes on a carbus , but well done!

Very interesting capture of daily life. We can wonder what they think, what they live, where are they going after they get off the train ?
I like the bright orange jacket of the girl, that contrasts with all the blues and faded browns of the others.

Nice to watch this travellife, which seems not so different from ours - I once stood up for nearly an hour here in Denmark - even I got a ticket for a seat - thanks Per - many funny poses :-)
