Feelng the love bug are you? Haha
The orange and yellow bg give this photo its eye catching element, it really pops.
And your choice of the close up compo works well too. From the small thumbnail i knew i had to investigate it more.
Effective compo with the bold colors

Hi Deniz, beautifully shown this lovely sculpture, nice background as well. It is so close (compared to Australia) and I have never been to St. Petersburg. I would love to see hermitage. beautiful presentation.

The angle you have taken this from has really breathed life into these fine statues. Normally I find the dead staring eyes of marble statues a bit disconcerting, but by placing them against that amazing ceiling with its fine rich decoration, you really have created a perfect image, and it conveys the feelings of the statues emotions really nicely. Beautiful depth of field too, a really masterful shot. Thanks for sharing.
All the best

As always, brilliance... the monochrome marble against the colorful ceiling, the POV that fills the frame with the lovers, well-balanced, nearly perfect!
I am somewhat familiar with the fantastic story from antiquity, but I do not remember what he must be placing in her hands. *off to Wikipedia to read*
Have a great day!

Merhaba dear Deniz
This is superb. I think it's the Point of View, so up close and personal, that wins it for me. But there is also an impressive management of light and depth, aswell as the sensational contrast between the grey tones of the marble and the incandescent colours of the ceiling. An extremely well seen and well- executed photo. Congratulations.
Warmest wishes, have a happy Saturday

Wow! What a wonderful sculpture you have selected for this shot! I'm really impressed of its beauty. Great idea to take low POV to capture it with outstanding colorful ceiling. Excellent work! TFS.

i can only imagine what they are discussing ...
in fact, i like to imagine what they are discussing ;)
lovely shot, deniz ~ i love the two almost colorless figures set against the vibrant colours of the dome. beautifully lit, beautifully captured.

The compo is excellent, especially with the half dome at the top. The angle is what makes it beautiful!
You focussed on the hands, is it? That part is the sharpest...Maybe reducing aperture a bit more would have brought in more in sharpness overall....But then I see ISO 1600, I guess it might have been difficult as it is. What say u?
PS : I liked your earlier profile pic :-)
