Photographer’s Note
So here is the church of St Nicola the Thaumaturge, built in the middle of XV century, first mentioned in chronicles in 1473. It's a church of a small village now, quite homely and original. Looking at it's turret you can see clearly where North is: paint fading quickly under the North wind in winters (well, last winters were no winters at all, honestly) and needs repainting almost every year.

Hello Uhu,
Russian architecture is very beautiful and varied. I like the way you captured the church from the back to give us better perspective. The early morning light is very effective to capture great colours and details. A nice composition with an interesting subject. Thanks.

Hi Uhu, Your photos are like an ongoing history lesson on Russia which is very interesting to me. The blue sky is the ideal background for this composition. Your new camera is paying dividends already. TFS. Murray.

Hi Uhu,
Nice picture. You did well with the exposure. The white walls are not overexposed and the sky is not too dark. Pskovskaпa oblast is such a lovely place, with many beautiful churches everywhere!
Best wishes,
Jeremy
