Church of St Michael Malein in Novgorod. Built in year 1557 on a territory of a ancient monastery; monastery is long gone, but the church still stands. The deformation of it's bell-tower is not a distortion, it really looks like this.
I think I posted almost all ancient buildings in Novgorod on TE; I suppose this is one of the last ones among the stone churches (there about 20 of wooden ones, though).

A venerable and beautiful building - but not in the best state. A contrast to your last picture taken in the palace ...
The architecture here looks quite different from other churches in your country. The bell tower here without an "onion" looks familiar for "Central European eyes" ;-) In spite of the not very favourable weather you managed a quite good photo.
