In this small seaside settlement called Priasovskiy, the construction of a new part of Savvino-Storozhevskiy Monastery is under way. There will be the Patriarch’s house, a monastery and an orphanage. The new Trinity Church will be one of the biggest churches of the South Russia. Its height is 60 m.
The area between this place and the nearest seaside (about 1 km) is called "Switzerland of Taman". There are picturesque hills and a blue lake with mineral water there. Although the Priasovskiy hamlet did not look very presentable in the summer 2009, when this picture was taken, it promises to be "Geneva of Taman", when the construction works are completed.

Zdravo Sergiy. Nice to see that future generations will not be deprived of beautiful architecture and religious experiences. Looks like another beautiful church. Interesting post as we see cranes and scaffolding used. Pozdrav. Klaudio.

Good Morning Seriy,
You photograph contains much information for us to appreciate the scale and the beauty of the new building.
There is a pleasing lead into the shot, which has a lovely mood of unhurriedness, and space.
Have a good day,

It means that more people get into "professional" religion! In my country, they hardly can find new priests... very few have interest in being a bachelor... until death!
And also the style of new churches there looks good... not always the case in France!
Good general view of the scene, with fine quality.
Warm regards from warm Thailand!

Therefore surprising that to be a place not very big, this big building this church. The prospect of the building, looks very elegant and secure forms will be another beautiful church, which has been showing us. The prospect of the road gives a good depth of field to the image.
The bright day, it gives you this nice colorful picture.
Enjoy a great weekend.

I was discussing with some other guy some old photographs and how they allow us to travel in time as well. This photo surely will be double as interesting few years from now when the people won't remember anymore how the church was constructed. Very interesting capture. Amazing that you have still so many churches being built. Although in Poland the religion is getting less popular -there are still some new churches under construction too. It is sad though as people prefer to build new ones instead of taking care about the old ones sometimes.
Great blue sky makes it a very happy view.
Have a great weekend,

I think that since August the work has advanced and must be even almost finshed !!! A really interesting photograph on this new area which emerges. A place which must be pleasant with the proximity of the sea. A beautiful image, luminous and of a good clearness. Thank you Sergiy.
With all my friendships and excellent Sunday,

Hello Sergiy, I always find it very interesting when I see a photo of yours showing a new church being built, here it seems that they are closing them, except for some Mosques being built, Interesting. Nice capture with your usual high quality, beautiful colour & detail.
