Photographer's Note

At the right-hand part of this picture you can see the so-called “Valley of Castles” with groups of dark (due to shadows) pointed rocks. Closer look at the valley and the separate “castles” are seen in other my pictures from the Zhilasu (Hot-water) Valley taken two years ago during my first bike travel to the source of the Malka River at the foot of the Mount Elbrus, where a lot of mineral-water springs and four big waterfalls are situated.

Stunning view of this beautiful landscape, full of dips and peaks, the green slopes add great charm to the composiicion, fantastic that peak we see in the distance, with its top with traces of snow, composicin perspective is ideal.
The range of soft colors in this range is gorgeous.

Hi Sergiy,
A fantastic landscape view and a geological lesson, we can follow the formations of the small valleys here and how they have been created from the influence of erosions. The small roads add a pattern over the green hillsides. This is a marvellous picture!
