The breed of saddle-horses, which is widely used for transportation in Kabard-Balkaria, is called Sagdi, that means "as fast as a bullet". The speed records for these horses are 1600 m per 1 minute 53.4 seconds (50.794 km/hour), and 2400 м per 2 minutes 44.2 seconds (52.619 km/hour).

Another fine shot from your camera, with such a great feeling of the wide open spaces. Those horses, with the sunlight glancing off their richly coloured coats, make a beautiful colour combination with the greens. The valley looks so fertile and I imagine that the air is clean - I hope so! Wonderful work you are doing presenting the Caucasus like this.

This is one of your best landscapes recently - wonderful detail, colour and contrast on the horses. Ideal management of the exposure. Also, the background is absilutely beautiful and supports the photograph - sometimes your background is just there - without really workng for the frame, but this time it is excellent.
