Strangest churches I ever seen Photo

Photographer’s Note

Now, this IS Northern Russian architecture for you. It's a church of Sergey Radonezhsky, built in year 1560. These contrforces, added when church started to be unstable, made its outlook rather strange, at least in my humble opinion.

Сёдня ты прямо надо мной поселился.
Кровельное ржавое железо придаёт этому всему какую-то русско-советскость.Уродуя такой Памятник зодчества.Но, видимо они не замечают, приелось.А свежим взглядом заметно.
Погоду отрегулировал на мониторе? :)))

This is an impressive piece of architecture, massive!
I notice the thick walls and the small windows so I suppose this construction used to have some defence purposes too...
Good point of view and a pleasant composition, nice framing and rich colours!

You are right, this is unusual architecture, but it does seem to be effective. Your composition is fine using the tree to balance the towers of the church. The lighting and colors are fine with nice sharpness and detail. The blues and greens contrast the white of the church nicely.

Strange and interesting indeed - but obviously effective: the church still stands! ... and it's interior isn't affected at all. These steeples are wonderful!

I havent seen such a church yet too
but very good pov and nice colours
most of all I like the blue sky it makes a good contrast

As Pablominto said this church looks like it had also defence purposes. Very interesting architecture.
Your picture has a good composition, beautiful colours and shows the whole construction of a very good POV.
