A sidewalk in the Russian Far East city of Komsomolsk On Amur (Na Amure). The Amur River nearby forms the border with neighbouring China. There are very few uploads from this city.

Hi Chris.
This town was the end point of my trans-Siberian trip in 1975, but I saw little of the town, just the hotel and what could be seen from the bus on the way to the harbour. I have no doubt these buildings at that time would not have displayed such colour on a sunny day. Your shot is nicely composed and has the added charm of some figures animating the cracked footpath, which surely has not been repaired in many decades.

Hi Chris,

it is nice to see some impressions from parts of the world most of us even do not know that exists. This looks like a most domestic and warm city of leasure and joy. Light is marvelously bright and it is nice to see a street designed in old fashion, with a lot of green surfaces, trees. In old days they knew how to make pleasant ambients to live, today everything is just about the money. Nice to know that such beautiful small places still exist with all their charm and loveliness.

Nice shot in good saturation from ME Super. Well captured building with the sun shining on its face and the path in cast shadow making it a cooler place to be walking around.

Great job to be showing us photos from this place which is virtually unknown on TE. The bright colour of the building is a bit surprising, giving this a Mediterranean appearance. Thanks for sharing.
