An elegant old building, in the main street of Komsomolsk On Amure, near the museum. My Lonely Planet Russia guidebook, is in Australia, so I can't give more info, & a web search was fruitless.

Hi Chris,

I like this photo because it is simple, lifelike and relaxed. It is good to see the person in this photo, either intentional or not, to give the scale. The dark blue saturations in the sky are very developed and give a lot of depth to the photo, make the building stand out more. If the sky were the same pale colour as the building the definition would be lost. Very attractive. I might try a workshop.

Hi Chris,
seems to gave some history as it is very huge and also a bit noble. Interesting architecture I assume the left part is a later addition. Good angle to show us two sides and the trees are good green spots in that "blue" composition. Good sharpness and clarity.

The contrast and vibrancy are very well established in thus composition. the colors and perspective blends very well giving out this pleasant image against the well saturated blue sky.

You chose a great day for the blue sky to see this direct light and shadow on the building, painted light blue externally and with blue roof. 1 color with gradient.

A simple building but elegantly shot. What is this building? Residential or public office?

Hello Chris,
nice shot of this blue building with great perspective and POV.The use of the lens 28mm create a little bit distortion,if i cannot mistake, in the left.The contrasted colours are excellent as the management of the light.The trees add different colour in the scene.Well done Chris.

les couleurs sont vraiment fortes et j'aime vraiment beaucoup, le piqué est très pécis. En fait, pas de défauts dans cette photo.

Hi Chris,
I wish that Brussels had also painted buildings such as this one, those "Belle Epoque" buildings are a nice reminder of another area. Great idea to have place the building in front of this blue blue sky !
