Photographer’s Note

An overview of the Amur River & park, taken mid summer. Russians endure long, cold, winters, so they make the most of warm sunny days like this. Lots of Al fresco dining, & drinking chilled beer, & there's even a swimming beach with sand. But I didn't go swimming, in case the pollution levels were high. The tacky Coca Cola stand caught my eye here. It still made a good photo though, imho.

The 2 blue box like structures resembling Dr Who's tardis or police boxes, are portable public toilets.

Hello Chris,
No getting away from Coca Cola! Good point of view and I like the person striding purposefully along the otherwise deserted promenade. The colours of the stand make a good contrast with the surrounding scenery. TFS.

The CC stand makes an effective eye-catcher to put it that way!
A well balanced composition with good lines, an interesting documentary!

Hello Chris. Coca Cola in Russia. Already that is somewhat special. In addition, the photo lives by the color contrast red-green. In addition it is still outstanding composed. Really beautifully and worth seeing. Best regards, Wolfgang.

It sure looks out of place this Cola stand right there in the fair landscape of this faraway country. Just by that interesting to see and explore. Original way to present the place Chris - for sure.

The Coke in the far-east of Russian lands, in the edge of the Amur River is a curious image. Excellent POV, nice colors, great depth.

must be a russian company because of the red tent and a writing which reminds me to Cyrillic letters. :-)
Good diagonal view on the border with an eyecatcher in red. The blue tent at the left is a fine addition.

The tacky red of the Coke shed attracts immediate attention. Well composed in a diagonal, showing the river & the park as well. Interesting shot from a part of the world not seen so often. Good one.
