Photographer’s Note

So here is the courtyard of Rostov Kremlin, at the back are Cathedral of Repose of the Virgin, crypt is made in 1158, main body several times rebuild and now what we see are mainly from XVI-XVII centuries.
Crouds of tourists at the gates are showing the real size of these churches.

Oh and. Let's hope that this Caucasus affair will end soon, with as little people being hurt as possible.

Good reference including the people in your capture, really shows the scale of the buildings.

These buildings must be HUGE judging by the people in front, and I probably wouldn't have thought of that if you hadn't mentioned in your note. Very beautiful and interesting architecture and nice natural framing. TFS and have a happy day!

Again an interesting architectural photo. I like that you took it in spite of these scaffolds. The church is simply gorgeous - a wonderful building.
Well, concerning Caucasus I must think of David and Goliath ... and I share your hope.
