Photographer’s Note

So here's a Rozhdestvensky (The Nativity) Monastery in Rostov the Great. Situated next to the Kremlin, behind the low hill. Founded in XIV century by Archbishop Theodor, first stone building - Church of Nativity of Jesus Christ - is one at the right, made in 1670. Others added in XVIII century.
***
Here you can see the traditional for Rostov color of the domes - here they are steel-and wooden-grey.
In Yaroslavl usual color for domes is green, in Moscow is golden and blue and in the North usual color is black.
