Photographer’s Note

Церковь Всех Святых в Троице-даниловом монастыре в Переславле-Залесском. 1687 год, построена на дентги князей Барятинских.
***
So here is the small church of All Saints, built in town Pereslavl-Zalessky in year 1687. It's made in first years of the rule of Peter the Great, before the start of his course on westernisation of Russia. So this church is one of the last churches made in traditional way, in XVIII century architecture changed dramatically and switched on Baroc.
This church and the likes of it are the product and the top of evolution of traditional Russian architecture that started in XI century on St Sophia cathedrals in Kiev and Novgorod.
Later, as I said before, all switched on European styles - Baroc and later on Classicistic ones.
