Photographer’s Note
So I made a hundreds of photos of the sacred buildings, made in Old Rus', but heres the first one, I think, wich is not sacred.
Here's a Receiving Chamber of Archbishop Iona in Rostov Kremlin. It's a small palace for important guests, some Russian Tzars stayed here, as well as some other VIPs. Made in the XVII century.
Palace is quite traditional, such ones were constructed in XVI and XV centuries. Main thing in this style of architecture were small windows (because of extensive cold in winter, to preserve heat), thick walls (same reason) and walls of white stone or white-painted plastered bricks.
Mostly all houses in Old Rus were made of wood, stone ones were rare; when they were made, they looked more or less like this one.

Hallo!
You always again find interesting and/or beautiful buildings. Considering that this "only" is a receiving chamber it's quite big and architectural lavish. This staircase simply is incredible... thank you for showing this and for the note - it's really interesting!
Greetings from still cold Germany - with a bit snow!

Uhu,
The architecture here is outstanding and you have presented it nicely. The inclusion of the pond and children in the foreground adds nice life and contrast to the building. The lighting and colors are great with excellent sharpness and detail.
TFS,
Asa
