The Trinity Church is one of the most magnificent, graceful and youngest Vladimir churches built during the years 1913 to 1916. It was built by the local Old Believers and it is sometimes called the “Red Church”, as it is made of red brick.
It was consecrated on the 30th of October, 1916. The church was built in the so-called pseudo-Byzantinesque style by architect S.M. Zharov. The building consists of two parts connected with one another, i.e. a church and a bell tower. A high silhouette with a tiered upper part is topped with a helmet-shaped dome, the western part, i.e. the bell-tower is a little bit lower. The white stone socle, outlines of the windows and portals contrast with the dark color of the building. The church is decorated with the bands of profiled bricks. The last service took place in the church in 1928 and the local archival office was placed there.
Today, the Trinity Church is widely known not as a church but as the “Museum of Crystal, Lacquered Miniatures and Embroidery”.

I would like to visit churchs like that. The architecture is very impressive for my eyes. Nice colors and the inclusion of the truck (a firework one?) in front of the church adds a nice perspective of the size of the church.

Beautiful and lovely church!
Very attractive picture of it!
Sharpness, exposure, chosen pov, colors, vertical format, grey & white borders, contrasts and simple composition are all excellent and they all really pleased me!
TFS - congrats,

this one stood out strongly in the small thumbnail pages.
the brown really caught my attention.
Funny, i don't think of brown when i think of Russia.
love the arched door along the bottom as well, and the white window sills come alive.

buona inquadratura per presentare questa chiesa in mattoni rossi.
Mi piace l'inserimento del marciapiede con i pilastrini a dare profonditа alla scena,
