Cathedral of St Dmitry in Vladimir, comissioned in 1194-1197 by Great Prince Vsevolod the Big Nest (meaning that he had very big family). Vsevolod is a meaning name, it means "Owing everything", and it's true in his case, he was a really very powerful Prince; under his reigh Vladimir become a richest and strongest city in Ancient Rus'.
Cathedral is built of limestone, its walls are covered with reliefs, more than 600 of them, depicting magic creatures and scenes from the Bible.

Thanks for posting and for the note...the photo would be enhanced if you had straigthened it up......I don't think that this Cathedral is competing with the leaning tower of Pisa :)
