A monument/pavillion at VDNKh exhibition complex in Moscow.
I wanted to capture the dull sky with the gold stick/star against it, but it didn't turn out very well.
If I moved closer to the structure, vital detail would of been cut. But further away, it becomes harder to see - so from this angle I took what I thought had potential to capture the building and some people milling about in front of it.

You did a very good job with the compo and taming what seems to be a difficult light situation, with that bright grey sky. I'd say that the sky is in accordance to the image one has of the old Soviet Union, too much orderly and much "oficial" and formal.
The only thing that could be better is the sharpness - it's not that bad, but I suspect that the original would permit a much greater one.

You have successfully got the whole building on your photo! Well done. A typical Stalin-scrape design, this building. I have not been to Moscow since 1975, so I guess there are more cars nowadays. There were only buses, then.
