Dmitrov was founded by Yuri Dolgoruky in 1154. Ancient monastery of Sts. Boris and Gleb is one of the beautiful places in the town. The Cathedral of Sts. Boris and Gleb was built before 1537.

Hi Tatiana,
This monastery is superb, under a very nice sky.
As far as the vegetation is concerned, the part to the left is a little bit too present to my mind, while the right part ideally fills the sky.

Your orthodox monasterys are splendids. Love Russia visited in 1996. Unfortunately I have just video film and not photography... I would be to combe back.

Again, the architecture of that Monastery is mangificent and your picture has outstanding technical qualities (sharpness, exposure, colors, pov, composition)! A shame it's not larger! Anyway, congratulations! TFS!
