Photographer’s Note
The beautiful building of a pavilion, which represented Ukraine republic in USSR, was built at the All-Russia Exhibition Center (former VDNKh) in 1939 and reconstructed in1947-1954 under the design by architects A. Tatsiy and K. Ivanchenko (Ukrainian architect). It is a historic and cultural monument of national significance. One of the most impressive features of the pavilion Ukraine is it's glorious tower on the top of the building.
The tower consists of an open-worked crown with a spire (you can see on this picture), which was "interwoven" of flowers, herbs, and spikes, rose over the building, sparkling with gold and increasing the height of the building to 42 meters.
The facade of the pavilion, made of alabaster panels, was decorated by golden spikes and then (after reconstruction) it was finished with Ukrainian majolica tile (you can see small part of the facade decorations right on the bottom of this picture).

Great detail in this, which really shows the intricate patterns. When you take the time to look at it, it's quite amazing. The colour and contrast are great too. Well done!
