Photographer's Note

I didn't have anything to do after work one late November afternoon... so I went for a walk downtown with my camera :)

In the background you can see a shining building - it is TsUM ("Tsentralniy Universalniy Magazin") - "Central Universal Store". The abbreviation is pronounced as "tsoom".

TsUM is one of the largest and most successful department stores in Russia.
It is located in the very center of Moscow — next to Red Square and the Bolshoi Theater.

"Nowadays TsUM is one of the most fashionable and trendiest places in the city, the largest fashion department store in Eastern Europe.

It carries in its stock more than 1000 brands of fashionable apparel, perfumery and jewelry.
