Photographer’s Note
In XVII century merchants of a cities along Volga River become rich and powerful; they were able to build a cathedrals that could surpass great works made by Princes. Churches of Vladimir Princedom, all covered by stone reliefs, were like a model to later generations, these rich guys wanted to make something alike what Princes build.
So here's a reliefs from the walls of the Church in Debri in Kostroma.
