White and dark red Photo

Photographer’s Note

These are churches of Saint Anastasia's monastery of the Teophany (compound name, yes) in a center of Kostroma.

The white church is Cathedral of the Teophany built in 1559. The dark red one was built much later, in 1869.

Интересная фотка, собираюсь туда съездить летом. А где, собственно, Ипатьевский монастырь и его фотки? Я их на ТЕ не очень-то вижу.

Igor, this is a very different shot than anything I would have imagined of Russia. The mix of dark and light colors is very striking. From a photo standpoint I would have liked to see some blue sky or something with definition as a bg but the composition is fine.
