Kaluga was founded in the mid-14th century. It was first mentioned by its present name in 1371. There are many old houses and beautiful ancient churches.

what a nice urban composition! :-) the view down the street with the run down red buildings on the right side and the nice
colorful church in the back is great. the colors are a wonderful contrast to the grey sky. spassibo & poka, thor.
