Photographer’s Note
..a chair is still a chair
even when there's no one sitting there
but a chair is not a house
and a house is not a home
when there's no one there to hold you tight
and no one there you can kiss goodnight...
NB: a portion of a song tittled "A House is Not a Home"
popularized by singer/songwriter, Burt Bacharach.
on our last day in Tagbilaran City, while painting the town red so to speak, it suddendly rained big time, me and my friends ended up in the mall for a 'refuge' and found these chairs on display with the sign "Please Don't Sit On These Chairs" boldly displayed on the bottom which i cropped out, of course.

Hi Benedict,
Like you say, I guess they are just chairs and there's not a lot we can learn from them, even given the most open mind, however what you've seen is the vibrant colours which give the photo instant appeal. I like the no symmetrical composition.
all the best

Your photo is really an eye catching one with vivid colored chairs. I never though they can be wet till reading your note. The reflections of lights on their metal arms are noticeable too. Wonderful shot and great note to accompany the image. Congratulations. Have a nice weekend.

Hi Ben,
This Burt Bacharach song is indeed quite appropriate for these vivid chairs. This must be during your stay at BBC. Hope things are well with you and that you had a good Thanksgiving. Regards...Danilo
