[Note Guidelines] Photographer's Note
After rice harvest season a lone makeshift shelter made up of hay and branches is left to wait for the next planting season. For the meantime no laughter from resting farmers can be heard nor gossip talking from the wives can be shared. Not until a plow plods the earth or a soul burns down the dried up rice weeds will his desolation end...

adjusted highlights and the shadows plus adjusted curves to bring out the colors.

Hello Marvs,

A good pov.
The sunlight turns the used rice weeds and the desolate shack to gold!
There is beauty even in desolation!
A pleasing composition.

Kind regards,
Bev :-)

you aptly chose the right tittle for this capture! this place wont forever be desolate (nor forsaken for that matter) as there will only be days left before plowing starts again, and then rice growing anew. and as what the first member has remarked, i second the motion- there is beauty even in desolation!

the vertical presentation is perfect, the colors well adjusted but you would have tried a tad to adjust the sharpness, Marvin, IMO. ganoon pa man, maganda! you let me feel i am home now by just looking at this.
cheers,
Benedict
