i was kinda hesitant to post this for reason that it still is far from completion, but i am running out of philippine fotos, and so i decided to share this one.
i took this a day before i headed back to LA from my 6-week 'hybernation' in our farm.

to those who aren't familiar as to what the front side muddy water is, it is part of the ricefield that had been plowed for the next rice planting.

hopefully this year, this unfinished project will come to fruition. i can hardly wait!!

and btw, apologies for the error- the year on the foto should have been 2007...ahh, senior moments....:-(

I'm glad you posted this from my 'home away from home' :) This picture makes me feel like I'm there, and I'm looking forward to my next visit. TFS

Hi Ben,

so that's where you will live someday! It's a beautiful house, even not finished. I comes with everything an old man would like for his home: peace, nature, tranquility. Any idea to antecipate that moment? Great shot!
Abraço,
Carlos

Hi Benedict,
How cute is your house!Among these palm trees.
I loved it, my friend.

Hi Benedict,
The lovely tropical home with its turquoise roof seen making a nice reflection in the rain soaked rice field.
The lush tripical palms make a nice natural frame for this beautiful image.

Thats the type of house and place I wanna live when I get old.

Great pic, goodluck on your new home :D

Olá Benedict, nice to meet your place of retirement. It looks fantastic (actually it remembers me a wonderful place where I was in an island, in Malasya) and that big green hat fits well in the middle of the jungle. Nice reflection on your rice field as well. Congrats - may be I will visit you some day :D

Hello Benedict. Beautiful architecture shot with the building well laid behind the water feature. Well done and have a great weekend. Best regards. Jusni

Kumusta Ben,
So this is the retirement project you are working on ... you have good vision in investing this kind of business. With rice shortages now and predicted in the future, this would have a much better financial return. The house in the background is part of the project? It would give you a great feeling looking from the veranda and see the fruits of your labor. Hope all is well from your end.
The quality of this photo is very good especially the sharpness and overall color quality. Well captured and presented. Well done! tfs
Cheers,
Renier

perfect dream home bro, away from the hustle and bustle of daily life...this one is indeed a refuge for the weary soul. sana magkaroon din ako nyan someday...he!he!

technically bro the merits of this one is how you got the small house, coconut groves and the to be planted ricefield in one compact yet effective composition.

Unfinished, but already nice for a picture, Benedict. I like the green of that roof! You did right when you decided to post it!

Hi Benedict,
well, I would love to have a house here, for me it seems like paradise! Good inclusion of the foreground and nice reflections in the water. As I said before, I think living there is really wonderful. A place where you can forget about the busy world out there, a nice shot!

Take care
Mark

Hello Benedict,
Your house looks nice. I like the architecture which is typical for Mindanao. Sharp and well framed. I reckon this is a future retirement site. Looks peaceful and bucolic. Hala kayod and save some more. Greetings! Danilo
