Photographer’s Note
La journée Internationale de l’Enfant, went out early in the morning today and noticed these kids playing around the 'kariton' while their parents search for something useful among the garbage bags. Decided to buy them 'taho' (soya drink mixed with caramel syrup) from a vendor feeling they haven't had breakfast...
Posted a Workshop to show and remind everyone the place where these kids spend their daily lives and that many things are not always created equal...well, the books' editors must have skipped some chapters...

Hi, Alex.
Very strong one.
I am astonished that this picture have no any critique for the while...
No words...maybe...
I like you captured the beautiful smile of the boy in the middle : he is posing not like a "victim of poverty" but like a futur star :).
I like your picture a lot.
Best regards. Grazyna.

So kind of you to buy them a treat, I'm sure you made them very happy, and I also know that children do love having their pictures taken so I would imagine you really made their day!! This is a great documentary shot, and unfortunately a very common scene in your corner of the world. They are all so beautiful!! Thanks for sharing this!
