Please forgive me as I get carried away with my new pp program. These boys were on their way to school when they were side tracked by this little pool hall. The sun was really beating in through the windows of this little shack. I wanted to make the picture appear very old as I felt like I was going back in time watching this 'daily life'.

Oh, hey Karen,
this is a neat scene. That little tiny table is hilarious and I love the expression of the guy smiling on the left. The sepia worked really well here and I find it odd there'd be a picture of Christ on the wall of a pool hall. I really like this shot. :)) Thanks and take good care,
Shelly

Hello Karen,
Great idea to have this image to convert to sepia-toned that really match with the surrounding especially with the wooden structure like this!
give a good atmosphere and mood of the oldie!
well done and I loved it!
TFS
regards
Tony

Hi Karen,
Very cheerful capture of these happy truants. Pool has been the down fall of many a young man. Quite a contrast between the clown on the left and the serious shooter on the right.
Regards, Tom

Nicely done Karen. I love that full size pool table :)) Nice to see Jesus enjoys a game of pool. BTW which PP program are you using or is it still Picasa ?

hi Karen

Somehow your travel has enabled you to get close to your subjects and the local people, it is clearly seen in most of your posts. You must have a charm to establish such good relationship with people. I believe it originates from the heart.

Very charming shot of children having fun play.

Hello Karen,
A great spontaneous capture that well suits the black and white treatment. The image has a great atmosphere with the exposure being well controlled in what look like very difficult lighting conditions. An excellent mood shot, well done!

Hi Karen,
I like poolhall photos and you created a very good one here. I agree with Shelly's comment that the inclusion of Christ's portrait in the background to be very interesting. A great travel photo with an excellent B&W conversion. Superb!

Hi Karen,
Nice sepia treatment to age the picture. I hope you scolded these kids for not being in school .... I hope they were not betting their lunch money:) Good daily life capture... a well presented documentary photo. Well done! tfs
Cheers,
Renier

Karen,
a quite artistic approach in B&W with the feeling of vintage through the slight noise that you introduced into the image. The clear interaction between your lens and the boys playing around makes this a fantastic shot. I would place this here as one of your best posts so far.
Peter

Hey,
Full of energy and life in these kids... the range of expressions are interesting throughout.
Desaturation works well in this one.

Hi Karen !
Interesting scene - so spontaneous and natural. Think you've caught something really precious here - these tree boys reacted opposite each of them... Like golden sepia here.
Greetings T.
