[Note Guidelines] Photographer's Note
CAMIGUIN is a pear-shaped volcanic island with a total land area of 238 sq. kilometers. It lies 10 kilometers off the coast of the Province of Misamis Oriental, NOrthern Mindanao. Katibawasan Falls is near the province capital of Mambajao. You can rent a motorbike to get there. This is just a 400 meter walk from the road.

Hi Benedict,
A good photo with good quality in sharpness and colours. the composition is excellent, showing the entire fall and some human figure to give sense of dimension.
Useful note as well.

hey mr. K,
camiguin is a popular place. i have a colleague here who hails from there and she always brags about her island paradise camiguin; my cousin who studies in AdeC Xavier U made mention that it is a place worth the trip; another cousin from DENR employ said he can get a place to stay for free, well i now see I am a loser i didn't get (or grab) the chance to go visit (but, in Bohol i ate a basket of camiguin lanzones, far sweeter than those from Laguna, you bet!). sa susunod na bakasyon, dadalaw na ako.

i have noticed that you always wanted to place your subject (the falls in tnis one) in the center which sometimes is nice but i would rather see a vast view scene of the place you capture by "placing" your main subject by the side..it endorses more of the "natural" nature appeal, IMO. also, it looks like you over-sharpened this shot, did you?
anyway, still a nice work, tukayu.

cheers from rainy LA (and bbrrrrr......)!!

Hi Benedict,
A wonderful piece of nature, it does not even bother me so much that the waterfall is tio centered, water highlights against the dark green are powerful and with the people giving scale we can realize how big it is.
Have a nice day JY
